Contemplations, Nature, Poetry, Reflections

MEANDERING IN MONTCLAIR

I walk on stones and sand

beside the creek flowing

down the canyon

where a rainbow of wild flowers

blossom on the slopes

with flourishing cactus & bush

after a week of rainfall

inhale fresh air

and retreat from virtual reality

into mother nature’s ashram

as a rabbit scurries by

and a eucalyptus soars

from the canyon

to cumulus clouds

floating in blue sky
